The MMA Board of Directors is conducting a search for a proven and accomplished leader to serve as the Association’s next CEO. The MMA is the state physician association of Maine. It is a physician advocacy and support organization with a staff of 15, an annual budget of approximately $2.5 million, and approximately 4,000 active members. The CEO works closely with a volunteer board of 29 members and serves as the operational leader of the organization. Managing an experienced and highly regarded staff team, the CEO also serves as a trusted advisor to physicians and other healthcare stakeholders on a broad range of legal, legislative, financial, and operational issues that impact the care of Maine’s 1.3 million residents. Urgent Care Physician - South Portland, ME

AFC Urgent Care is hiring for an Urgent Care Physician in South Portland, ME.  The incoming Physician will perform a fundamental role in the development of this new practice.  The AFC Clinic in South Portland will open in Spring 2019 and be the first to open in Maine, in a brand-new state-of-the-art building. The incoming Physician will partner with the Medical Director and will be supported by a team of medical professionals onsite.  

Practice Need:

  • An Emergency Medicine or Family Practice Physician to provide urgent medical care for the community of South Portland and Cape Elizabeth

Our three health centers serve a multicultural, rural population and have a family practice focus serving pediatrics to geriatrics.
