Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

The Sacopee Valley Health Center prides itself on providing the best health care for our community. As we continue to grow, there is a need for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our provider team. This position is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package, including health, dental, disability, life insurance, 401k retirement plan, and generous paid time off.

Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistant are eligible to apply for NHSC loan repayment.

SVHC is a multi-service, progressive, rural federally qualified community health center located in a medically underserved area. We employ 70 staff members to deliver care to approximately 6,000 patients annually. Our medical team consists of a Registered Nurses, Care Managers, and Medical Assistants to provide a team-based care approach. Other services at the health center include dental services, family planning, behavioral health counseling, psychiatry, podiatry, radiology, and lab services.

Applicants must have a current Maine licensure; at least one year of primary care medical experience preferred.

Dentist

Today you will join a healthcare organization and staff of 70 employees delivering medical, dental, and behavioral healthcare to close to 6,000 patients.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Educate patients on oral health.
  • Complete comprehensive full mouth exams and diagnose dental conditions.
  • Assess treatment planning options and discuss with patient.
  • Carry out agreed clinical treatments.
  • Maintain patients' medical records.
  • Must be a DDS or DMD from an accredited school.

Medical Director - Bucksport Regional Health Center

Description:

Bucksport Regional Health Center – a  community health center serving Bucksport, Maine and the surrounding communities with two locations, Bucksport and Ellsworth, Maine.  We have 78 employees and 16 providers (varying hours).  As an integrated center we are seeking a Medical Director to oversee the structure/scope of our clinical program, provide supervision to physicians, and other clinical providers, lead quality improvement activities and provide ambulatory/primary care for patients.

  •  Board Certified Physician (MD or DO)
  • Licensure in Maine preferred or willingness to become Maine licensed
  • 7-10 years family practice or internal medicine
  • 5 years experience direction medical services
  • Strong EMR background
